As co-chairs of the 2020 U-M United Way campaign we invite you to make a pledge to this year’s campaign. Before you decide to make a pledge –- or not, please take a moment to consider the importance of the work that United Way of Washtenaw County (UWWC) is doing to identify critical needs in our community and direct available funds to the programs and services that are most effective.
Last year, for example, the U-M United Way Campaign raised more than $1.2 million to support local solutions to many of our area’s most pressing challenges. Each dollar raised through the campaign that was invested in the UWWC’s Community Impact Fund, was leveraged through Coordinated Funding to expand its impact. The critical areas supported by this funding included early childhood education, health and nutrition, seniors, our local homeless community, and individuals seeking to attain financial stability.
If you agree with this important work and want to support our area’s most vulnerable citizens, please do so with a pledge to the 2019 U-M United Way campaign. Together we can make a difference –- a U-M difference!
We are proud to co-chair this year’s campaign and hope you will join us in helping others through the United Way.
Thank you and Go Blue!
