October 11 – December 31, 2021
The United Way is the University of Michigan’s annual charitable giving campaign where faculty, staff and retirees donate through payroll deduction or a one-time gift to the causes they care about - ending hunger, sheltering the homeless, etc.
Workplace Giving Makes a Difference
Many nonprofits in our community receive a large share of their gifts each year through the U-M United Way Campaign, thanks to the generous faculty, staff, and retirees at the university. Giving through the campaign is the most effective and efficient form of fundraising for nonprofits since it allows employees to give a little each paycheck, but make a big difference.
Last year the campaign raised and donated more than $1.2 million to our community.
The ePledge system will be available Oct. 11, but in the meantime you are welcome to make a pledge to the campaign by downloading the pledge form and sending it to one of the options listed below.
