Kathleen joined the University of Michigan Office of Federal Relations in September 2023. Kathleen previously served as a Federal Relations Associate for the University of Colorado System’s Office of Government Relations. Kathleen has worked in both higher education and electoral politics, having interned in the Office of Economic Development and Community Engagement at the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities (APLU) and staffed numerous campaigns, including races for the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, Michigan House of Representatives, and the Governor of Michigan. A Michigan native, Kathleen is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s in political science and communications.
