The Henry Ford (THF) partners with community-based organizations that provide direct social services to underserved and underrepresented clientele in the metropolitan Detroit area. Through these partnerships, The Henry Ford provides free general admission for on-site shared family experiences (broadly defined to include parents/children, mentors/mentees, caregivers/clients, etc.) for the communities they serve.

As part of this program The Henry Ford hosts quarterly Community Partner meetings (a staff representative from our partner organizations would attend) that highlight ways to engage with The Henry Ford, guest speakers, networking opportunities for community partners and access to resources that may further benefit their organizations to help inspire a brighter future.

University of Michigan Associate Director of State Outreach, LaSonia Forte presented about resources and partnership opportunities at the Spring 2021 meeting.
